Linda Just Montoya, 65, died Wednesday, September 27, 2006, in Central Washington Hospital. She was born April 30, 1941, and lived her entire life in Wenatchee except for the time necessary to complete her formal education. Linda was an accomplished musician who had earned her Master's Degree from the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia at the young age of 20. Though she enjoyed playing the violin the most, she also gave private violin lessons and taught at the Wenatchee Valley College.
Linda is survived by her son, Jesse Montoya of Spokane; and brother, Fraser Just of Wenatchee. She also had an extended family of friends and care providers who will dearly miss her.
Linda so enjoyed having friends come to visit and she enjoyed impromptu parties at her home.
A Memorial Service will be held at Jones and Jones Funeral Home on Saturday, October 9, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. Jones and Jones Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
