Arthur Tobe Chandler, 64, of Chandlersville died suddenly Friday October 15 1971 at Barnett's Creek.

He was a farmer and former member of theJohnson County Board of Education.

He was the son of the late Columbus and Laura LeMaster Chandler.

Immediate survivors include his wife Cora Lemaster Chandler;three sons, Richard Chandler of Stambaugh; James Chandlerof New Carlisle, Ohio; and Kenneth Chandler of Greenfield,Indiana; five daughters, Jessie Gilbert of Fort Knox,Anna Baxter, of Vandalia, Ohio, Esta Campbell of Vandalia, Ohio, Sue Hyatt of Dayton, Ohio,and Wanda Chandler, at home;Also surviving is one sister, Tisha Gibbs of Milford Center, Ohio.

Funeral services were conducted by O.I. Williams Sunday October 17, at the Old Hood United Baptist Church.
Burial followed in the Old Hood Cemetery at Winifred under direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
