Mr. Robert Oscar Beard, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Oakview Manor. He was 92. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge with Rev. Jerry Wilkes officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 12, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge. Mr. Beard is survived by is wife Sybil Beard; son, Robert Gene Beard and daughter-in-law Sandra Beard; two granddaugh-ters: Lacey and Kacey Beard; and 2 sisters: Bernice Floyd and Jeannette Whaley.
