OBIT: Mrs. Mary Ann Wilson-

Born in Kentucky, She Had Lived Here Twenty-one Years:

Mary Ann Nickell Wilson, daughter of Stewart and Margaret Nickell, was born June 24, 1891 in Morgan County Kentucky. She was the next to the youngest of eleven children; her parents died when she was only three years old.

On Decemeber 14, 1910, she was united in marriage to James Lewis Wilson. To this union, seven children were born, three having died in infancy. Mrs. Wilson died at her home on Spring Street Friday morning, April 23. She had been an invalid for three years, and much of that time was spent in her bed and wheelchair. About two weeks ago she had made a visit to the home of each of her daughters and son. Soon on her return to her Weston home, she suffered another stroke, from which she never recovered.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Wilson is survived by three daughters: Leona Wilson of the home; Mrs. Rolland Gow, Holt; Mrs. Clinton Ellington, Kansas City; one son, Perry Wilson, Holt; five grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters of Kentucky, and a sister, Mrs. Rebecca Ford, Kearny.

Funeral services were held at the Christian church Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. J. M. Kauffman. Burial was at Kearney. Pallbearers were six nephews: Roy, Emmons, H. P., Dillard and Ernest Kratzer, Kearney and Charley Barnett, Kansas City.

The Wilson family moved to Missouri in 1912; in 1936, they came to Dearborn and nine years ago, they moved to Weston. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Dearborn Christian Church. She was a faithful and devoted Christian Woman. Her primary interest was always in her home and her children. Even in her days suffering, she always cheerful and never complained of her own cross being too heavy to bear.
