Daughter of Abraham Shawley and Margaret Staut Shawley. She married Harvey Frederick Leonard on April 3, 1891 in Mt. Pleasant, Westmoreland County, PA. To this union were born William Esley, Margaret Gertrude, Ernest Edward and Charles Hayes Leonard. She married 2nd to Joseph Everstine.

Mrs. Emma* Everstine, 53, wife of Joseph Everstine, 604 North Mechanic Street, died suddenly at 5 p.m., yesterday at the Brunswick Hotel, where she had been visiting friends during the afternoon. She was in apparent good health before she was stricken. She died within a few minutes, before a physician arrived.

Besides her husband, she is survived by four children of a pervious marriage: Charles H. Leonard, this city; Ernest E. and William E. Leonard, Akron, O., and Mrs. Oscar Bone, this city.
