Sexton Creek--- Preston Metcalf, age 58, died of Cancer, Tuesday, Aug. 6th 1985 at the VA Hospital Lexington, Fayette Co., Ky. Mr. Metcalf was a vetern of the Army-Korean War, & a security guard for the Blue Grass Army Depot, Richmond, Madison Co., Ky. He is survived by four children; Roger, Paul Metcalf, Margaret Nagal & Mary Griffin, two step-children: Georgia Thomas & Eugene Rowland. Six brothers also survive: Dee, Isaac, & Corney, Grant, Bud, & Lester Metcalf. Also three grandchildren & three step-grandchildren survive.
Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Aug. 9th at Britton Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Friday, Aug. 9th at Britton Funeral Home with Reverends Jesse Byrd & Carlo Davidson officiating. Burial was in the Union Cemetery, Tyner, Jackson Co., Ky. Britton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Preston s/o John D & Sarah Allie Hunter Metcalf, grandson of Joshua P./Malvery Gross Metcalf, great grandson of Norris/Millie Cornelius Metcalf. Veteran of Korean War.
