Obit: Julia J. Haass, 120 Corona, born in Medina County, Texas, March 19, 1890, entered into rest, Tuesday Dec 10, 1974, at the age of 84 years old. Rosary Alamo Chapels, Friday 7:00 p.m. Concelebrated Mass St. Peter Prince of the Apostles, Saturday, 10:00 a.m. by the Rev Louis A. Trawalter, Rev Kevin Smith and Msgr Paul Ehlinger with interment to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Survivors: sister Mrs. David (Amanda) Davis, Sr., city; 39 nieces and nephews, among whom are James and Louis Hoog, Edward Zinsmeister, Dr. David F. Davis, Vincent, Randolph, Louis, August and Clarence Haass, Mrs. William Thomas, Mrs. George McCollum, Mrs. Dennis Dooley. Ms Haass was a member of St. Peter Prince of the Apostles, Catholic Daughters of America, St. Benedict’s Oblates; Legion of Mary, Senior Citizen’s Assn, has been with the county clerk’s office for over 40 years, under 8 county clerks and has been a resident of San Antonio for the past 68 years. Casket bearers will be James and Louis Hoog, Edward Zinsmeister, David Davis, George McCollum, Dennis Dooley, August and Vincent Haass. Services under the direction of the Lelon Cude Family.
