Mrs. Kate Peirson, 75
Services for Mrs. Kate Peirson, 75, of Brownwood, will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Union Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Charlie Morris officiating. Burial will be in Eastlawn Memorial Park.
Davis-Morris Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Peirson died Sunday at 10:10 p.m. in a Brownwood hospital following a seven-week illness.
Born Nov. 17, 1893 in Iowa Park, she was a member of the Union Presbyterian Church. She moved to Brownwood in 1927. She was married to Fred Peirson at Iowa Park July 17, 1912. He died in 1963.
Survivors include three sons, Bill and Fred of Brownwood, Henry of Fallon, Nev.; four daughters, Mrs. Vernon Graham of Pampa, Mrs. Mary McClung of Goldthwaite, Mrs. Leo Allgood and Mrs. Jerry Brogdon, both of Brownwood: Four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Cowling of Electra, Mrs. Ida Mae Morgan of Breckenridge and Mrs. Iren Darr of Dallas and Mrs. Henry Hood of Houston: 12 grandchildren: and eight grandchildren.
