HAMPTON - Funeral services for Bryan A. Hampton, 57 years old, 111 North Schifferdecker avenue, who died at 2:05 o'clock yesterday afternoon in St. John's hospital, will be conducted at 11 o'clock Monday morning at the Hurlbut chapel. The Rev. Cliff Titus, pastor of the First Community church, will officiate. Music will be provided by Ben F. Scott's quartet. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery. The body will lie in state at the chapel until the funeral hour. Pallbearers will be J. Roberts, Fred Wilson, George Clark, Fred Cook, Ed Tracy and John Mills. Mr. Hampton, who was born in Virginia, had lived in Joplin 20 years. He formerly was employed by the Federal Mining Company. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Nettie Hampton; two sons, Andrew and Bruce Hampton, at home, and four daughters, Hope and Beulah Hampton, at home; Mrs. John Crouse of Asbury and Mrs. Jason Appleman of Waco, Tex.

Mr. Hampton, a resident of Joplin 20 years, formerly was employed by the Federal Mining Company. He was born June 6, 1878, in Virginia. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Nettie Hampton; two sons, Andrew and Bruce Hampton, at home, and four daughters, Miss Hope Hampton and Miss Beulah Hampton, at home, Mrs. John Crouse of Asbury and Mrs. Jason Appleman of Waco, Tex. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
