ALICE MAUDE DONALDS OURS, age 83 years, a resident of Lee Co, Georgia, departed this life Friday May 28, 2010 at her home.
She was born Thursday, August 31, 1926 at Morgantown, WV, a daughter of the late George B. Donalds and Maude Swaine Blackhart Donalds.
Surviving are one son, Alan M. Ours and wife Elizabeth of Lee Co, GA; one daughter, Janet Lynn Ours and husband Ralph Duane, Jr., of Gainesville, VA: one brother, George B. Donalds and wife Maureen of Stuart, FL; thirteen grandchildren, Tiffany Ours, Ashlyn Ours, Taylor Ours, Joshua Ours, Joseph Ours, Christopher Ours, Hannah Ours, Luke Ours, Matthew Ours, Bethany Ours, Jason Ours Duane, Matthew Ours Duane and Zachary Ours Duane.
A native of Morgantown, WV, Mrs. Ours had resided in Lee Co. for the past four years moving from Easley, SC. She served her country during WWII by working in a factory that supplied bombs to United States warplanes. She was a retired office administrator and was of the Christian faith and she loved her grandchildren.
