E.J. Biehunko Sr.

HALLETTSVILLE-Edward J. Biehunko Sr., 64, of Hallettsville died at 9:20 p.m. Sunday in a local hospital following a long illness.

Biehunko was born Jan. 14, 1910 in Colgate, Okla. He was an employee of the City of Hallettsville and a former butcher. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
The body will lie in state until 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Kubena Funeral Home Chapel.

Rosaries were recited Monday night by the parish and the society at the funeral home chapel.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Emilia Ehler Biehunko; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Vacek and two sons, William and Edward J. Biehunko Jr. all of Hallettsville; five sisters, Mrs. Hubert Gerlich, Mrs. Joe Christen, Mrs. Fred Ehler and Mrs. Johnnie Hunish of Hallettsville and Mrs. John Kunetka of Moulton; a brother, Erwin Biehunko of Moulton and a grandson.
