Brother of Anna (b. 1878) and Laura (b. 1881). His older sister Anna died in Feb. 1885 at age six.
In Nov. 1889, when he was nine years old, his father, who suffered years of verbal and physical abuse from his brother Peter on the family farm, shot and killed his Uncle Peter. His father was sentenced to prison in March 1890.
His parents divorced in 1891 while his father was incarcerated. His mother Alice remarried when he was 14 (Oct 1894) to William Wieselman. He had two half-sisters; Lillian, b. 1896 (d. 1913) and Florence, b. 1899.
Lee had blue eyes and dark brown hair. He worked as a laborer at Morton Salt Company.
He never married and died of a perforated ulcer at the age of 51. He is buried in Honey Creek Cemetery beside his father who died in June 1913. He was survived by his mother, his sister Mrs. Laura Acker, half- sister Mrs. Florence Molkentine, and by nieces and nephews.
