She was born April 9, 1922 in Crescent, Utah to James Harold and Sophia Charlotte Larsen Johnson.
Norma married George Leroy Gerber on December 5, 1942; their marriage was solemnized on September 19, 1950. They later divorced. She married Seville Shupe on February 2, 1972; later divorced. On January 30, 1988, Norma married Clarence Earl Bingham in Clearfield, Utah. He passed away on March 22, 1989.
Norma worked in all of the LDS Church auxiliaries. She owned and operated Clearfield Upholstery for twenty years and owned Gerber's Custom Draperies. Norma was loved by all her family and will be missed. She enjoyed gourmet cooking and travel. She loved family get-togethers.
Survived by her children: Larry Gerber (Ranae), Layton; Duane Gerber (Leann), Cedar Hills; Dennis Gerber (Kathryn), Fruit Heights; Jannette Bailey (Thomas), Lehi; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Arlene Bergstrom, California; Vivian White, Midvale; Burt Johnson, Salt Lake City; Leon Johnson (Karen), Midvale; Lois Fails (Robert), Sandy; Gary Johnson (Laura), Midvale. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Glen and Donald; sister, Doris.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street (100 East), where a viewing will be held on Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:45-9:45 a.m.
Interment: Taylorsville Memorial Park Cemetery.
