Mr. Grove was born in Piatt County on May 7, 1895 son of John Anderson and Frances Minerva Oulrey Grove. He was a postal emploee from 1924 to 1958 in West Liberty. He was a past Master of the Olney Masonic Lodge and was a veteran of World War I.
He married Mabel Alcorn, who survives.
A son, six brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
