Mrs. George M. (Minta May) Landon, 79, of Yelm, died Thursday at her home. Born in Huron, Ohio, she came to Tacoma in 1927 and made her home here until moving to Yelm in 1946. Mr. and Mrs. Landon celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 1950 and last August were honored at a family reunion at which five generations were present.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Keep of Yelm and Mrs. Delilah Ryan of Puyallup; two sons, Arthur of Yelm and Leland of Tacoma; 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday at 3:00 P.M. at the Dyer Mortuary, with the Elder Glenn Patterson officiating and burial will be in the Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup.
