The death of Mrs. Ellen McDonald of Argyle occurred Sunday morning at 10 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John A. Thompson, after an illness of acute indigestion. Mrs. McDonald was 72 years of age and is survived by seven children: Mrs. James McNair, Mrs. John A. Thompson of Caledonia, Mrs. Jane Marcy, Rounup, Mont., Miss Bessie McDonald, George and William McDonald of Beloit. There are three sisters, Miss Sarah Picken, Mrs. Sarah McEachran and Mrs. Martha Ralston, all of Rockford, and two brothers, George Picken of Rockford and Charles Picken of Guilford.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon from the home of Mr. Thompson in Caledonia, Rev. Brockhoven of the Congregational church there officiating, assisted by Rev. Mr. Smith of Willow Creek church, Argyle. Burial will be in Argyle cemetery.
