Muscatine, Iowa - Lottie Lake 'Ma-Maw', 77, Muscatine, died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2002, at Genesis Medical Center - West Campus, Davenport.

Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. The Rev. Sharon Phillips will officiatePallbearers are grandchildren, Ralph Lake, Steven Lake, Aaron Garcia, Nathan Lake, Alex Garcia and Daniel Garcia. . Burial will be at the Rock Island Arsenal Cemetery. Following the burial, a luncheon will be held in the Community Room at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lake was born on July 15, 1925, in Knoxville, Tenn., the daughter of John L. and Dovie Jo Tucker Grayson. She married Ralph Lake on June 26, 1948, at Union Brethren Church, Muscatine.

She worked at Lutheran Homes as a CNA for eight years and prior that she worked at Model Laundry for several years.

She enjoyed collecting, cooking, crocheting and crafts, but most of all, she loved to spend time with her family.

Survivors include four sons, John Lake and his wife, Jane, of Temple, Ga., Kennith Lake of Wappingers Falls, N.Y., Roger Lake and David Lake, both of Muscatine; three daughters, Barbara Carlton of Muscatine, JoAnn Grayson of Houston, Texas and Sandra Schaaf and her husband, John, of Muscatine; a step-daughter, Sharon Strand of Brooklyn, Minn.; two step-sons, Dennis Flynn of West Liberty and Ronald Lake and his wife, Charlotte, of Muscatine; 36 grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Gene Grayson and his wife, Verna, and Johnny Grayson and his wife, Mae, all of Knoxville, and Charlie Grayson and his wife, Estella, of Pearland, Texas; and a sister, Virginia Coffin of Pasadena, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three daughters, Sue Lake, Janice Hernandez and Lisa Lake; a step-son, Thomas Lake; and two sisters.
