Yoakum, April 7 - Adolph G. Pechacek, 71, died in a Houston Hospital Friday.
Funeral services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Monday from St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Yoakum. Internment will be in the Catholic Cemetery.
Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. and will be said again at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
Pechacek had lived in the Yoakum area all his life.
He is survived by three sons, Adolph A. Pechacek of Boerne, Leo Pechacek of Yoakum and Carl Pechacek of Victoria, three daughters, Mrs. Ladike Kubicek of Houston, Mrs. Herman Petering of Yoakum and Mrs. Freddie Sanchez of Victoria, 17 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
Cause of Death: Carcinoma cervical esophagus/ Had an operation for this 9/13/55
