Abbie A. Greenlee. 82, of 1917 Wyman School Road, Caledonia, a resident there most of her life, died Saturday afternoon at Rockford Memorial Hospital, Rockford following a short illness.
Mrs. Greenlee was a piano teacher in her home for many years. She was a member of the Willow Creek Presbyterian Church, a Sunday School teacher and pianist at the church for several years.
She was born in Caledonia Sept. 17, 1902, daughter of Alexander and Mary McCathran. She was married June 27, 1925 in Caledonia, to Harvey J. Greenlee, who survives.
Survivors besides her husband include one son, Dr. Herbert B. Greenlee, of River Forest; one sister, Ruth Andrew, of Caledonia and four grandchildren, Anne Greenlee, Herbert B. Jr., Dr. William M. Greenlee, and Kenneth H. Greenlee, all of River Forest.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Delehanty Funeral Home Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with the Rev. Steven Plank, pastor of Willow Creek Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Scottish Cemetery, Argyle. Firneds may call Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials have been established for the church.
