Death claimed a well-known Borgan, E.W. Jones Sr., at 4:20 o'clock Monday morning when he was stricken with an acute heart attack at his residence, 117 West Adams street.
Coming to Borger in October, 1931, Jones has been in the automobile business and was co-owner of a used car lot.
Funeral services were held in Borger, Tuesday at 3 o'clock. The body was brought overland to Clarendon where interment was made in Citizens cemetery. Mr. Jones was at one time a resident of Clarendon.
Born April 25, 1898, in Colman [sic] County, Elmer Washington Jones married Osie Mae Byrant [sic] on May 28, 191, at Weatherford.
To this union four children were born, three of whom are among survivors, E.W. Jones Jr., of Borger; Mrs. Earl Runyon of Bartlesville, Okla.; and Mrs. C.M. Dillard of Borger.
