Jessie May Fitzgerald, 80 of Corsicana passed away on Sunday, Nov. 23,2008, in Corsicana. She was born on July 4, 1928, in Palestine. She was employed with Medical Arts Clinic for 24 years and retired as the admitting supervisor. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school in the children's department for over 40 years. She was a member of the Partnership Mission with the Southern Baptist Convention. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8p.m. today at Corley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Emmanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Lain Teel and the Rev. Lain Tell and the Rev. Harold Scott officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery. Mrs. Fitzgerald was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert M. Vick; and brothers, Garland Samuel Vick and Hubert M. Vick Jr. She is survived by her husband, Thomas A. "Bud" Fitzgerald Sr. of Corsicana; son Thomas A Fitzgerald Jr. of Euless; daughter, Samantha Hains and husband Mike of Corsicana; sister, Jurline Vick Collins and husband Lewis of Oakwood; sister-in-law, Jo Bays of Corpus Christi and Polly Vick of Ennis; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial contributions may be mad to the Emmanuel Baptist Church. Arrangements by Corley Funeral Home.
