ATWELL, Clarence C.

Atkinson – Clarence C. Atwell, 56, electrician at the Midland Electric Coal Co., died in his home this morning after several months' illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 Wednesday afternoon in the Congregational church with the Rev. I. W. Jones officiating. Burial will be in Liberty cemetery. The body will be taken to the church at 1 Wednesday afternoon. Vandemore funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Atwell was born June 23, 1889, in Cornwall township, son of the late Henry and Carolyn Atwell. He was reared and educated here and spent all his life in this community. He was married July 12, 1910, to Ida Mae VandeWostyne.

Mr. Atwell was a member of the Masonic lodge and the Congregational church.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Floyd Atwell of Geneseo, and another son, Elden Atwell of Atkinson, and a daughter, Mrs. Myrle Hornecker of Geneseo.

Masonic services will be conducted at the grave in Liberty cemetery.
