Earl Cochran died at his home on Gault Avenue Thursday.

Mr. Cochran was born December 19, 1871. He was the son of Judge and Mrs. Lucien L. Cochran. Judge Cochran served as Probate Judge many years ago. Earl had lived in Fort Payne since he was 14 years old. He published the Fort Payne Journal. He also served as Register in Chancery for years. He was active in real estate. He was a member of the Methodist church. He was a Mason and Shriner.

He was laid to rest at Glenwood.

His widow; one son, Edgar; one daughter, Miss Grace; one brother, Lucien L. Cochran, and one sister, Mrs. Maggie McCartney, all of Fort Payne, survive him.
