Harrisburg-The shooting of a waitress and a bartender were ruled murder and suicide by Dr. Thomas Fritchey, Dauplin County coroner.
Mrs. Laura Keys, 42, was killed instantly with a .22 caliber bullet as she as preparing to go home from her job as a suburban tavern early Sunday.
Walter Gehrett, bartender at the tavern, was found about a block away, lying on the street fatally wounded with a .22 caliber rifle in his hands, police said. Gehrett died later in a hospital.
Officers said Mrs. keys was washing dishes at a kitchen sink, with her back to an outside door, when she was shot about 1 a.m.
There were no witnesses.
