Mrs. Elaine A. Madden, 72, of Davenport passed away Tuesday, at Davenport Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was born in Scott County, July 11, 1919.
Elaine Friederichs married, Roy A. Madden August 30, 1942. Mr. Madden preceeded in death May 6, 1978.
She was a member of Long Grove Christian Church, Woodmen of the World, Women of the Moose (Davenport), North Scott Senior Citizens and the Scott County Farm Bureau.
Mr and Mrs. Madden farmed for many years in the Donahue area prior to their retirement.
Survivors include : 2 daughters Patricia (Mrs. Kenneth) Ketz - Ancorage, Alaska. Pamela (Mrs. Gerald) Murphy - Dixon, Iowa. 2 sons Ronald Madden - Davenport, Iowa. Paul Madden - Honolulu, Hawaii. 9 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 am in the Runge Chapel. Burial will be at the Long Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3-8 pm Wednesday.
Memorials may be made to the Long Grove Christian Church.
