George S. Daily, 94, Tuscumbia, died Sunday afternoon (March 11, 1973) at Mitchell-Hollingsworth Annex, Florence.
He was a lifelong resident of colbert county and a member of Mountain Springs Baptist Church. He had served as pastor of numerous churches in Colbert and Lauderdale counties.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. H. E. Boyles, Louisville, Ky.; Mrs. Raymond Muse, Chattanooga, Tn; Mrs. W.W. Davis, Tuscumbia, and Mrs. B.O. Richardson, Tuscumbia; two sons, B.J., Florence, and H. D., Birmingham; a sister, Mrs. Ozelia Hill, Cisco, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. from Morrison-Elkins Chapel in Florence by Bro. Earle Trent. Burial will be in Florence Cemetery, Morrison-Elkins funeral Home directing.
