Danny K. Hammersmith, 57, of Bowling Green died Saturday, March 27, 2010.

He was born in Bowling Green on May 15, 1952 to Clarence and Viona (Abbott) Hammersmith.

He married Marsha L. Herr on November 27, 1970 and she survives.

Also surviving are one son, Loudan Paul Hammersmith; two daughters, Lenee' Ann Hammersmith and Gentry Lyn (Robert) Green, all of Bowling Green. Two brothers, Dallas of Lima and Timothy of Bowling Green; one sister, Sharon Waddel of Bullhead, AZ, and one grandson, Peyton Daniel Green.

He was preceded by his parents and a brother, Ronald.

Danny was a Bowling Green High School graduate and worked for Chrysler Corporation for 38 years.

A PRIVATE Celebration of Life Service will be on Tuesday at the Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green. Family and friends may call on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment is in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Arthritis Foundation.
