Frederick Row, who died at his home northwest of Bremen July 27, as was briefly mentioned in last week’s Enquirer, was born in Germany June 12, 1845. His age was 65 years, 1 month, and 15 days.

He was the youngest of four children, having two brothers and one sister. He came to this county at the age of 24 years and took up the occupation of farming. April 9, 1871 he was united in marriage to Miss Lydia Cripe. To them were born four sons and three daughters. He united with the church of the Brethren thirty nine years ago and remained in that faith to the end. He leaves to mourn a widow, seven children, fourteen grandchildren and three step grandchildren besides many friends.

Funeral services were conducted in Salem Evangelical church in Bremen by Brother Jacob Heistand of Walkerton and were followed by interment in the Bremen cemetery.
