Harold graduated from high school in Lamont, Oklahoma, in May, 1942, and attended Wichita Business College in Wichita, Kansas 1942-43. He joined the U. S. Army June 17, 1943, and served with the 99th Division, where he received a Citation in Chemical Warfare Service for voluntary exposure to chemical agents. Harold was killed in action.
