Henry Kirk Covert was born in Michigan and later moved to Nebraska where he married his wife Nancy N Wigent. They moved to Bucoda Washington with their children in the 1880s. He later died in Tenino in 1909 and Nancy moved back to Nebraska with her children and grandchildren.
