Thomas (Pedlar) PALMER was a Professional Boxer who had a turbulant life. World Bantamweight Champion from 1895 to 1899 when he lost his title in New York to Terry McGovern. He first married Margaret McKAY on 15 May 1896 and had 6 children. His second marriage was to Rebecca PIKE (nee HALL) in Brighton, East Sussex on 8th March 1948. They had one son.
