Rebecca Palmer was born to a Jewish mother Rosa (REES)and Charles HALL in Spitalfields, London. She was first married to William PIKE on 12th Feb 1899 in Stepney, London and later to Thomas (Pedlar) PALMER 8th March 1948 in Brighton, Sussex.
Palmer was World Bantamweight Boxing Champion in 1895. She had seven children (one with PALMER) and is buried in the Jewish Cemetery Meadowview, Brighton, BN2 4DE East Sussex.
