Mrs. Ada Paris Twining, 66, a lifelong resident of this locality, died at her home in School street, Thursday night, having been in failing health the past year, death being caused by acute Bright's disease. Mrs. Paris was born in Champion, a daughter of the late Alfred and Miranda Gibbs Twining, where she resided until her marriage in 1884 to the late Henry E. Chickering.

She attended the Congregational church in this village and was an active member of Copenhagen Chapter 437, O. E. S., being secretary at the time of her death. Funeral services were held at her late home Sunday afternoon, Rev. T. W. Bond., pastor of the Congregational church, officiating. Members of the O. E. S. attended in a body. Burial was made in Riverside cemetery, this village [Copenhagen].

Surviving are a son, Alfred A. Chickering of this village; a sister, Mrs. Emogene Teachout; a niece, Mrs. Alice Dillenbeck, both of Northwestern, N. Y.; a nephew, Glenn Twining of California; a stepson, Jerome Paris, and a
step-daughter, Mrs. L. D. Sheldon, both of this village.
