Robert L. "Bob" Choate, 75, of Wenatchee, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2006, at Central Washington Hospital, following a long battle with cancer. He was born in Oklahoma, moved to Wenatchee in the early 1960's and was a Salesman for many years. He retired when Sofa World closed.
Bob is survived by his wife of 55 years, Darlene Choate, Wenatchee; one daughter, Charlene Choate, Wenatchee; one son and daughter-in-law, Bill & Teri Choate, Milton, WA; three brothers, Bill Choate, Antioch, CA, Charles Choate, Klamath Falls, OR and John Choate, Oklahoma City, OK; two sisters, Correna Wilhite, Oklahoma City, OK and Emily Alexander, Fredericksburg, VA; three grandchildren, David Hill, Spokane, Angela Choate, Wenatchee and Anna Choate, Milton, WA; and three great-grandchildren, Daniel Arvailaze, Sophia Arvailaze and Patrick Hill all of Wenatchee. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter, Linda Choate; and two sisters, Lorene Evans and Imogene Lovelace.
Graveside Services will be held Thursday, March 16, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. in Wenatchee Cemetery with the Rev. Virgil Vater officiating. Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
