RICHARD E. GREEN
Richard E. Green, 77, Indianapolis, died Sept. 3. He worked in the maintenance department of Beech Grove Schools and Greenwood Schools for 10 years, retiring in 1988. Previously, he worked for New York Railroad and Bryant Heating and Air Conditioning Co. He also owned and operated Green's Citgo on Churchman Avenue from 1956 to 1969. He was a member of Beech Grove Optimists Club and a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars 5626. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Services: 11:30 a.m. Sept. 8 in Holy Name Catholic Church, of which he was a member. Calling: 4 to 8 p.m. Sept. 7 in Little & Sons Funeral Home, Beech Grove.
Burial: Acton Cemetery.
