Pauline was married first to Morris Hoover Arnwine with whom she had her children.



Mrs. Billie Pauline Arnwine Nicholson, who would have celebrated her 76th birthday on Saturday, died Friday evening, June 6, 2008 at her residence, following an extended illness.
She was born June 7, 1932 in Granger County,Tenn., daughter of Rosie Maloney Frye and the late Conley Frye. She retired from the textile industry and was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Nicholson. Survivors include four daughters, Janet Anderson of Canton, Trenna Tate of Calhoun, Marie Thurman of Fairmount, and Cathy Truitt of Conyers; two sons, Mark Arnwine of Ranger and Mike Arnwine of Cartersville; mother, Rosie Frye of Tazwell, Tenn.; two sisters, Hermaline Kitts and Betty Maloney, both of Knoxville; two brothers, Charles Frye of Riceville, Tenn.; and Conley Frye Jr., of Tazwell; and 14 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral was Tuesday, June 10 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Jeremy Tate, Johnathan Tate, Nathanial Tate, Zane Tate, Melvin Nicholson, and Timmy Nicholson. Interment followed the service at Haven of Rest Memorial Park Cemetery. Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home of Calhoun was in charge of arrangements.
