She was the daughter of John George and Pauline 'Kanzler' Adler and was born Jan. 26, 1917 at Ritzville.
She attended Ritzville schools and graduated in 1935. She then attended Kinman Business College in Spokane for two years and worked for a short time at Deaconess Hospital in Spokane before marring Willim R. Collins in March of 1938.
In December 1941 they moved to Seattle, where they made their home. After the death of her husband on April 12, 1974, she remained in Seattle until 1980 when she moved to Vancouver to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren. (name deleted for privacy) She was preceded in death by her husband, William; sisters; Luetta Becker, Helen Wellsandt, Doris Adler and Alma Jolstead; and brother, Solomon Adler.
