Mrs Anna Mae Cope, 68, worked 10 years presser

EAST PALESTINE - Mrs Anna Mae Cope , 68, of 110 1/2 Alice St died of cancer Wednesday evening at the home of her sister in law in Lowellville. She had been ill two years.
Mrs Cope was born Oct 11, 1921 at Lowellville, a daughter of Albert and Ada Forney Allhouse. She lived in East Palestine five years after coming from Rogers. She Was employed as a presser at Newman's Dry Cleaning Youngstown for 10 years. She retired in 1974. Her husband, Clarence, is deceased. She leaves three daughters, Mrs Ruth Sowers of New Middletown, Mrs Dorothy Soloman of Petersburg, and Mrs Shirley Cobb of Bessmer, Pa. ; a stepdaughter Mrs Duritta Black of East Palestine; a stepson, James Cope of East Palestine, a brother Edward Allshouse of Struthers; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A son, Michael Cetor, died in 1970 and a brother Charles Allshouse died in 1987.
Services will be at 1 pm Friday at Van Dyke Sweney Funeral Home, East Palestine, where friends may call from 7 to 9 pm today and one hour before services Friday. 6/7/90 Youngstown Vindicator Page 37
