P. C. Stanfill, 74, died about 8:30 o'clock this morning at the Henderson Clinic.
Mr. Stanfill was born near Sardis but had made his home in Chester County for the past 20 years. He was a farmer and a member of the Pleasant Springs Methodist Church.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Blankenship Stanfill of Pinson; five sons, Bynum Stanfill of Morris Chapel, Thomas Stanfill of Bemis, Henry Stanfill of Mobile, AL, Hallie Stanfill of Sacramento, CA, and Lee Stanfill of Peoria, IL; three daughters, Mrs. Garmelia Victory and Mrs. Artie Etheridge, both of Enville and Mrs. Lucille Hayes of Parksburg; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Sardis with the Rev. C. B. Mullins officiating. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer in charge.

He died from a cerebral vascular thrombosis.
