Clarence C. Bremer, 77, of Pelican Rapids died Monday, Aug. 26, 1991, at his home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Pelican Rapids with Revs. Iver Possehl and Charles Wind. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery of Nashua.

He was born Feb. 10, 1914, at Nashua, the son of Edward and Mary (Gielow) Bremer. He grew up in Nashua and attended Concordia Lutheran High School in St. Paul. He also graduated from college there. He then went to Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, graduating in 1939. He served as vicker at Akley from 1939 until 1941.

He also served at a school for the deaf and blind in Chicago.

On June 13,1942, he married Eleanora Brose in St Paul. Following their marriage the couple moved to Minneapolis and served the chapel for the deaf from 1944 until 1957. From 1957 until 1966, they served at St John's Lutheran Church in Dumont. The couple moved to Fulton, Mo. in 1966 and served a school for the deaf there. They served a parish in the Staples-Motley area until 1979, when they moved to Pelican Rapids. After serving as pastor at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church for 10 years, they retired in 1989.

He was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, Eleanora; a daughter Mary (Mrs. Richard) Fennel of Fulton, Mo.; a son, Richard of Maple Grove; two sisters, Clara Kath of Breckenridge and Ella Glade of Akron, Iowa; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, with a prayer service scheduled at 7:30 p.m., at the Larson Funeral Home in Pelican Rapids.

Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
