Mable (Mabel) M. St. John was born to Timothy Barber St. John and Clara Etta Baldwin. She had one brother, David. who died in infancy. She attended grade school in Riverdale (Bonneville County) and New Sweden (Bonneville County) and high school in Shelley (Bingham County). She also attended Idaho State University in Pocatello, Bannock, Idaho.

She married George Lyle Lamberson in Idaho Falls, on August 19, 1933. They had one son, Robert. Lyle and Mable made their home in Idaho Falls until 1937, then moved to Riverdale where they farmed for two years. They lived three years in St. Leon (Bonneville) and then moved back to Riverdale where they had lived since. They built a home on Tim's and Clara's farm on the northwest corner of the intersection of the Shelley-New Sweden Road and St. John Road in Riverdale.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Idaho Falls.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 10, 1977, in Trinity United Methodist Church. Buck-Sullivan Funeral Home handled the burial arrangements.
