Mrs. Bristow was born Sept. 13, 1897, in Oregon. On May 1, 1916, in Yreka, Calif., she married Sidney J. Bristow, who preceded her in death in 1976.
Survivors include one son, Sidney J. Bristow Jr., Carmichael, Calif.; two brothers, Clark McDowell, Medford and Leighton McDowell, Gold Beach and four grandchildren.
NOTE: On 3 May 2010, I called Conger-Morris Funeral Directors in Medford and talked to Marcus. I found out that both Laura and Sidney were cremated. His remains to Laura and Laura's remains to Clark.
