She was the daughter of Dudley Kent(1695-1766) & Ruth Ruggles(1703-1752). She married Rev. Rufus Hawley from West Avon, Ct. in 1770, they had seven children: Timothy Ruggles,Rufus Forward,Jesse Dudley,George Washington,Orestes Kent,Zerah,Sophia.
