Josephine B. Wearden, 85, of Victoria, died Friday, March 5, 2004.
She was born February24, 1919 in Victoria, to the late John Louis and Mary R. Hickey Beck.
She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Victory Cathedral.
Survivors:
daughters, Rita Isgitt of Houston, Virginia Averill of Aransas Pass, Elizabeth Noble of Crestline, Calif. and Martha Macdonald of Nevada City, Calif.; sons, Joe Wearden and Steve Wearden, both of Napa, Idaho, David Wearden, Richard Wearden, Edward Wearden, and Andrew Wearden, all of Victoria, and John Wearden of Sugarland; sister, Genevieve Beck of Victoria; brothers, Lawrence Beck of La Porte, James Beck of Victoria, and the Rev. Richard Beck, OMI of Dickenson; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: husband, Joseph Edward Wearden.
A rosary will be recited 7:30 pm Tuesday at Colonial Funeral Home chapel.
Services will be 10 am Wednesday at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
