The rev. Abel Delosantos Balli Sr., 69, of Victoria died Tuesday, April 4, 2006.
He was born Nov. 10, 1936, in Galveston to the late Jose and Maria Delosantos Balli. He was pastor of Philadelphia Pentecostal Church in Bloomington.
Survivors: wife, the Rev. Jovita Mahan Balli; daughters, Linda Martinez, Marty Juarez, Terry B. Gomez and Rosie Rodriguez, all of Victoria, sons, Abel Balli Jr. and Carlos Balli, both of Victoria; sisters, Amelia Rubio and Estella Reyes, both of Victoria; brothers, Andrew Balli of Fredericksburg, Manuel Balli Sr. of Victoria and Joe Balli of Santa Fe; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: three grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Artero Memorial Chapels, the Rev. Juan Valenzela officiating.
Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Artero Memoiral Chapels, Victoria, 361-575-3212.
Pallbearers: grandsons, Abel Rodriguez, Daniel Nava, Joseph Gomez, Jonathan Gomez, Gabriel B. Martinez, Cody Balli, Chris Juarez, Albert Juarez.
Honorary pallbearers: Isaac Balli and Abel Balli III.
