Brenda Dickey Rogers [Obituary from Heritage Funeral Home
(November 13, 1954 - June 2, 2010)

Brenda Ann Dickey Rogers, 55, a resident of Scott Hollow Road in the Culleoka community, died Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at Alive Hospice of St. Thomas Hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. Rogers will be conducted Friday, June 4, 2010 at 8:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Elmer Lusk officiating. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Friday. Burial will be Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 10:00 AM in Dunnavant Cemetery in Elkton,Tennessee. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Detroit, Michigan on November 13, 1954, Mrs. Rogers was the daughter of the late Wesley Sherman Dickey and Addie B. Scott Dickey. She attended Columbia Central High School, and received her Associate of Science Degree from J.F. Drake Technical College in Huntsville in 1981. She was married to the late Andrew K. Rogers, Sr. After retiring from Chrysler Corp.in Huntsville as a Tech 3 technician, Mrs. Rogers returned to Maury County where she has made her home for the past five (5) years. Mrs. Rogers enjoyed country arts and crafts, drawing, painting, and airbrushing. She was also talented in the arts of candle and soap making. She was a NASCAR fan as well as a fan of the UT Vols and Crimson Tide. She loved her dogs. She was a member of Harvest Time Church in Huntsville, and the United Auto Workers.

She is survived by her son, Andrew Kline Rogers, Jr. of Culleoka; brothers, James (Judy) of Columbia, and Jerry (Carol) Dickey of Culleoka; Steve Howland of Culleoka; one niece, Jessica (Jamie) Morgan of Culleoka; two nephews, Jason (Farrah) Dickey of Centerville and Jon Dickey of Columbia; two great nieces, Addison Morgan and Blair Dickey; three great nephews, Hayden Morgan, Gavin Morgan, and Bryce Old.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Morgan, Bill Hanvy, Charlie Burt, Ronnie Rogers, Jason and Jon Dickey.

Honorary Guests will be Jan Martin Harris, Chris Thompson, Bonnie and Terry Lester of Culleoka and Dr. James Kirkpatrick.
