Adam S. Seabolt, age 65, of Calhoun passed away in Our Lady of Perpetual Care Hospital in Atlanta.
He had been in declining health for several weeks. He was retired and a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church near Sugar Valley.
Mr. Seabolt is survived by his wife, Cleo Seabolt of Calhoun; two daughters, Colene Carter of Calhoun and Linda Sue Patton of Carbondale; two sons, R. N. Seabolt and Reggie Seabolt of Calhoun; four sisters, Lela Hall, Sophie Mealor, Lethia Graham and Myrtle Seabolt, all of Calhoun; four grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Seabolt were held Sunday, April 18, at 3:30 p.m. from New Town Baptist Church. Dr. Charles Brock and the Rev. Kenneth Blackstock officiated. Music was arranged by E. C. Hill.
Pallbearers included A. J. Waters, Charles Hall, Alfred Dobson, Dan Thomlison, Bobby Patterson and Jack Davis
Burial was in the family lot of Chandler Cemetery.
