Elmer A. Voland, 60, a Town of Schleswig farmer, died Sunday evening at the Toth Nursing Home, Chilton.
He had been previously hospitalized at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, for a week.
He was born March 29, 1905, in the Town of Schleswig, a son of the late Alfred and Mary Voland. He was married to Viola Dedering Nov. 6, 1926.
The couple lived and farmed in the Town of Schleswig.
Mr. Voland also was employed by the Reindl Hardware and Appliance Co., St. Nazianz, until his illness two years ago.
He was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Kiel. His wife died last Feb. 2.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Bernice) Palazzo, Brooklyn, N.Y., and Miss Dolores Voland, Shorewood; a son, Elwood, Kiel; four grandsons; three sisters, Mrs. Walter Conrad, rural Elkhart Lake, Mrs. Howard Prahl, Kiel, and Mrs. Harry Klemme, Kiel.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peter's UCC, Kiel. The Rev. Vernon E. Jaberg, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in the Ucker Road Cemetery, Town of Schleswig.
