Graveside services for Francis L. Waddell, 89 of 1115 Lincoln St., who died Sunday at a Boise hospital, will be conducted at 10:30 am Wednesday in Cloverdale Cemetery by H. Lane Gleason, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 6th Ward, under the direction of Relyea Mortuary.
He was born May 19, 1890 at Heber City, Utah. He was educated at Brigham City, Utah. He served in France for 1 1/2 years during World War 1.
He married Mary Ann Chelewski Wilson on July 27, 1927 at Greeley, CO. He was a foreman on ranches near Cheyenne, Douglas and Casper, WY. They moved to Boise in 1944.
He worked for Stephen Cadillac Garage until retiring in 1963.
Surviving are his wife of Boise, 2 step-daughters, Mrs. Elmer(Erma) Bates of La Grande, OR and Mrs. Clifford (Juanita) Dawson of Whispering Pines, NC; a stepson, Richard E. Wilson of Boise; a sister, Mrs. Inez Olson of McCammon; and 7 grandchildren.
