BASTROP, La., June 28 (Special) - Funeral services for Steve Akers, seven week old son of Mr. & Mrs. I. G. Akers, Bastrop, who died in a New Orleans hospital after an illness of three weeks, were held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at Cherry Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Adcock officiating. Interment followed in Christ Church Cemetery here under the direction of Robinson Funeral Home.
